“Check Early Check Often” – that’s a key message for parents from the Family Action Network. Ages and Stages clinics offer parents a free forty-five-minute consultation about their child during which they can ask questions about topics like eating, sleeping, walking and talking – as well as behavior. Ages and Stages clinics are a great opportunity to get a snapshot of your child’s behavior and see how they are meeting age-based milestones. Children love it because it is play-based.
Services offered at this clinic include the Ages and Stages Questionnaire with an early year’s professional, a fine motor skill busy bag, and entry into a draw prize. Appointments are free, and pre-registration is strongly encouraged, a few drop in spots will be available.
